As much as it pains me to do so, I am selling my 911, which I have owned since January 1995. I've been working with a guy since early July but it doesn't look like the deal is going to go through. I am preparing to buy a house, but the house does not have a garage so I still will not be in a position to shelter the car and to work on it. Therefore I would like to apply the value of the car toward the house and let someone with the proper resources take on the car itself.

I have an ad over at the Pelican Parts classifieds forum with more info and pics of the car including some detail shots of the more rusty areas. The car runs and drives fine, apart from needing a tune-up and some odds and ends. In order not to spend a bunch of time copying and pasting, and since it isn't a BMW sale, I'm just posting the link here:

Let me know if anybody is interested in taking this on. I am trying to complete a sale by early September. The car is in Athens, Georgia, which is about an hour northeast of Atlanta.

congrats on selling your 'T' do you have any contacts for someone who is interested in buying a '72 T with a lot less rust than that? 110k on original 2.4T engine w/MFI, all service records, car needs TLC, comes with new polybronze front end bushings and TTRs. It is in storage in Atlanta, Irish Green. TIA, Will A.

To Will, I don't have any contacts but I think you could list the car on the Pelican Parts forum, it is very high-traffic. To rrsrsr and anyone else interested, the car shipped out this weekend.
