OK, everyone,
I have a 1973 Agave 2002, no sunroof, black/tobacco interior. Weber. I think this is a matching number car. "Ran when parked," as they say.
No title.
Ten or more years ago, the car was vandalized: sideswiped LR, smashed headlights, taillights and windshield. The owner left it with the mechanic for repairs. The repair bill would have been more than the car's value, so the owner abandoned it.
It has been in dry storage ever since.
There is rust in the quarters and minor rust in the rockers and front fenders. The shock towers appear to be solid. It rolls on late model steelies. Tires are flat.
It is missing some trim and interior parts. The seats are torn and the dash is cracked.
In my thinking, it is a toss-up as to whether this car can be saved. With a bit of tinkering it could be made to run.
The mechanic wants $500 for it.
Any takers?
Contact me.
