Mike, i am nit sure what is hapening to your home computer. And i don;t have anyone with aol to test your scenario. Can you check if your AOL is blocking cookies foirour site? That is the only thing i can think off. Alsoe clear all cash and cookies.

are you using Internet Explorer or does AOL still have their own browser?
If it is IE then in the Internot Options you will see two buttons next to each other: Delete Cookies and Delet Files. Use both while away not on the bmw2002faq page. But i am a little stumped with this issue.

Mike, i don;t know how much "protection" AOL provides now with their service, but I know that a few will have block unknown cockies from being installed on your machine. If there are some setting your can take a look at and see if you can add us a trusted site, that might halp you.

Subject: some AOL + Mambo stuff that *might* help

A quick google does show some AOLers having problems with mambo and logging in

It might be related to
Code:
$_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR']
since AOLers share proxies -- more than one can share the same remote_addr.

http://forum.mamboserver.com/archive/index.php/t-45705.html
http://forum.mamboserver.com/showthread.php?t=45013

I'm not convinced this is the case because we'd have other AOLers complaining too. It also doesn't explain why mike\ would work but regular mike wouldn't -- at least on the face of it

Mike: Here is an AOL help file on how to override the restrictive cookie handling in IE

http://webmaster.info.aol.com/cookieguide.html

Also, you can always minimize the AOL screen and use a regular browser if you want. http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/

If you google 'mambo aol login' you can see this isn't exactly unheard of .. but not a whole slew of solutions came up either.

best of luck!
