Do as much as the prep work your self, this will save you quite a bit in labor. This means pulling all the trim, grille, lights, mirror, belt bumpers. and lower molding off the car. you'll have to pull the interior panelsto get access to the trim pieces. I also recommend you pull all the windows (except door) off your 02. Your original window/door gaskets are probably showing their age, after repaint is the perfect time to replace all the old trim/gaskets. If you repaint it Inka, the next door ding will show the mint grun paint underneath it. If you strip it down to the bare metal to repaint it Inka, I hope you have some deep pockets. http://www.coupeking.com/product_main.php?product_id=334 If you think Inka is bright, it's nothing to a ming grun paint job, besides it's a rare 02 color. I admit it, I'm an originalist, if you want an Inka car, buy one. Here's an Inka for $500
http://losangeles.craigslist.org/car/118060179.html It will need a paint job anyway due to surface rust. Notice that you often see sahara 02's repainted another color? When they pop the hood, you'll see a sahara engine bay. Just my .02 cents worth
