if i get 1.25" H&R sport springs on my '74 tii would i need to get aftermarket shock absorbers or could i just use the stock ones.
to give you some idea as to how low my car is right now; the bottom of my fender is 2 inches from the top of the tire on the front and 1.5 in the back.

I also have 1 1/4 H&R's and i run Bilstein Sport shocks. They seem to work fine.

I replaced the original shocks in my car with Boge's, but they didnt seem to last long at all. I was suprised. Ive had the billy's for almost 3 years and they still feel brand new.

....don't bother with the springs untill

you can afford the shocks to go with them.

Springs and shocks are a complete system.

Replacing the springs and using the old shocks is a foolish repair.
Do it once and do it right.

No, sorry i posted kinda late at nite. I did the H&R springs and bilstein shocks at the same time. Car handled much better afterwards.

I was just mentioning that when i had OE Boge's, they werent good.
