Subject: Susquehanna MotorSports club discounts

URL: http://www.rallylights.com/
I was looking into buying foglights and changing
over my headlights. In speaking with the owner's
son, I found out that they offer club discounts.
Maybe we may want to organize a club designation
for the faq board especially as we are moving to
the new website/platform with a membership
roster?

They offer a 10% savings off of their already
reasonable pricing. Maybe we can set it up where
this board gets 3-5% and the other 5-7% is
realized as a savings to club purchasers? Not
much but it is a contribution toward the
maintenance of this site.

FYI, I asked about club status and not a group buy
so we would have greater flexibility with our
purchases moving forward.

Dan, maybe you can do the same for the e9coupe
board? Just a thought.

While, I am on the subject of lights ... I like how the
foglights are set up in the image posted. Any
thoughts as to mounting? Tension mount and/or
fabrication of a "c" bracket passing through air
dam to body of car? If anyone has done this, what
size light did you use? Do you recommend one
brand over another? TIA, Roger

I think this could be good, and maybe there can be discounts at a few other vendors as well. Let's see what happens.

I am planning to order from Susquehana soon, as I am planning to do the "roundie upgrade" of rear foglight wired into the brake circuit.

Awesome service fast shipping and great products. Got rid of those damn sealed beams on the e21 alpina.

I would give Dave a call and find out what it entails or taking the lead role and proposing something. I would recommend tallying the number of subscribers to the new board and/or the number of daily hits to this site, then:

- reporting that figure (# of members and/or) to the Susquehana
- making a hot link on the FAQ site to theirs, which mentions a %7 discount on purchases with %3 going to the FAQ
- Consider making the link in a general area so visitors can benefit and you can still get a commission for the FAQ
- Possibly working out a code for the FAQ that can be used at checkout to simplify the process

I am sure others might have some ideas and can chime in. If you have similar arrangements in place with Tire Rack or Discount Tire, etc., you can use that as a model or present this one to them. I am sure it will help the respective business linked with securing additional business. I think the number of people who visit this board can easily rival the number of members of any local car club.

If you would like me to help respond back to the email sent earlier. I did not think it was appropriate to explore the options on this board's behalf w/o your consent.
