I like this new board, variety is soooo spicy!
Back home after blasting up to NorCal real quick from here in San Diego. Cool changes abound!
Next weekend, many of us in this community will be on the road to Texas, South Carolina, San Diego, or to a local thing. After driving 1600 miles and a total time of twenty-one hours on the road, here's some observations.
I saw:
A couple of fresh roadkill
Five or six CHiPs
A dozen or so 911 Porsche
Four 320i BMW (one gave me thumbs up)
Two Hotrods
Not a single 2002
Up the 101, and down the 5
Speedometer no workee, but my car has 320i 5sp, 205/13 AVS's, and a 3.91 diff and has it's sweet spot around 36/3800 rpm. I figure about 75+- mph.
five tanks of fuel, two quarts of oil.
Tools to fix stuff, but no spare parts. I also have AAAplus: unlimited mileage towing.
I'll update the 02/02/02 thing man-yana (it just keeps getting better).

Last I heard was that the Auto Museum decided they want $300 from us to put on the show but that a few of our local businessmen were going to front the $$. Any word on that?
