We were talking about it here the other day. If you're going to install an M20 motor, I wonder if it's feasible to swap in the front wheel drive stuff?

At least that would be good on a snowy day like today.

the back seat of a tube-framed 02, powering the rear wheels through a transaxle. Would need a fat set of meats/flares, but would be fun to chase Vipers with...

I thought just one turbo was going to be enough? hehe.

What about dual engines? But the trick is to make your car look really stock so it's the best sleeper around. But where would you put the gast tank?

unless its just the mid-engine SBC design, then it can go under the hood to try to keep the front wheeeels on the ground!! hehehehehehehe... :D

You looking for any parts?

We usually get a lot less precipitation than Vancouver or Seattle even. There's lots of older cars here because salt is rarely used and it's much warmer and drier here. You even see convertible tops down on some winter days.

We did get a blizzard about 5-6 years ago that dumped several feet of snow here overnight. Then it stayed cold for about a week. It absolutely paralyzed the city and they even called out the army for help. It took me a 1/2 hour to make my way from our house to the front street! (about 200' away) We almost ran out of food and were prepared to try dry dog food!! For folks that had corner stores nearby, they all ran out of food. A real wake up call for emergency preparedness. Most government services were useless and it was the main local radio station that really saved the day by keeping everyone informed, where to get emergency help, matching folks up Hummers and the like for desperately needed trips, etc. Somebody had a heart attack or something, and the rescue crew had to spend hours digging snow to one house, then getting through its basement, and then digging over to the next house where the victim was. The whole thing was very surreal. Fortunately, power and telephones weren't knocked out. If that had happened, I think many people would have died.

That's an extreme rarity here. It's so much more milder here, palm trees actually do well here. We get the tropical gulf stream and can swim in the ocean in the summer.

Sort of off topic, but I hope it's ok.

I suppose you could take the ix and cut the body off, then transplant the 02 body! Seriously, this might be the easiest way. There is a lot of stuff under an ix and I don't think any of it will bolt up to an 02
