slow drip between the pedal box and driver's side frame rail. Is that the steel fuel line running along with the brake lines? Guessing if it is and there is a small hole I'll need to replace the whole steel fuel line... some reason I thought the fuel line ran along the passenger side inside the cabin... this is a 1975 carburated car by the way. Thanks for any help

Is the fuel line steel or is it the plastic hose that runs inside along the passenger side?

The steel fuel line is a return line. I don't know how it works, but that's it purpose. Somehow, excess fuel is returned to the fuel tank with this line.

You should be able to temporarily disconnect it and plug it. Many owners who've installed a Weber carb don't use it at all.
