I'm working on stripping the car before I get it painted. Read a lot of posts on how to remove the qtr panel trim and B pilar, and to leave in the front quarter windows. However I'm having a little trouble removing the door gaskets. I've been able to remove all the soft rubber, but the hard thin rubber that runs from the top half of the b pillar along the top of the door to about halfway down the front of the door is giving me trouble. Does this slide out? Recommendations on removal.

It's held in a channel-
if you can get underneath it at one end,
a soft tool will coax it out.
