Thought you guys might like to check out some of the photos I've taken from the prep to the actual race this weekend. The other guys will have more to share, but I couldn't wait to share. Davin will tell the whole story and share the details of the weekends event.

Subject: Steve, I have your Raytec...

If you don't need it before the Swap & Show I will have it for you there.

Sean and I discussed our tires Sat night. We went back and forth on what to do to get the car to rotate better... The fronts were rolling over pretty far, we thought about dropping the rear 2psi but thought it better to add 2 to the fronts... And we rotated them in an X pattern due to the wear and heat cycling the fronts got... It worked wonders!! Where the super skilled Sean was the only one who could bring the rear around on Sat, we all could on Sunday! It became a very balanced well behaved car!

Thank you very much for your time and input!!

Tom did you ad the pressure before or after you rotated them? As a rule of thumb, first you try to find the bet possible tire grip in all 4 corners. So you are looking for the widest patch without rolling over on all 4 tires. Once you get that, you will know how neutral the car is. From this point you will be reducing the traction to get desired effect. Lower pressures will soften the sidewall and make the tire transition slower, higher pressure will reduce the patch. My preference is to go higher since that will reduce the sidewall movement and reduce the amount of heat the tire generates.

Yup, that's exactly what we ended up doing... added 2psi to what became the front tires after rotating. On Sat the rear had all the grip in the world while the front was pushing out. Sean could get the rear to step out to rotate the car with effort but the rest of us could not. On Sun after we rotated, added 2 to the now fronts we were golden, any one of us could get the car to do anything we wanted/needed.

On Mylaps.com Sean pointed out that on the greasy end of day track I ended up setting our fastest lap time of the race. How cool is that! "I drive loose car good!"
