Subject: Light rust in Cylinder #3 spotted after pulling head...

during a headgasket job. It's not very deep. Leave it alone? Little elbow grease with scratch pad to try and remove?

it's just a one-time thing as the residue of your gasket-blow.

as long as it's not pitted it should be ok. Or you will need to rehome and may be even rebore the cylinder wals if ther eis more damage.
