I've been working some on my driver's side window regulator. I had to reseat the window into the bracket at the bottom of the glass, and stick a new retaining pin thru the hole. I was able to reuse the rubber channel.
Now, looking at everything, I have the conical spring and the washers, but there is a circlip missing where the regulator arm's pin fits into the slot in the bracket at the base of the window. Does anybody know the size of this circlip? Any tips for a smooth installation? It's on the back side of the regulator so it's tight quarters. I'm brushing up on my profanity in anticipation of this task.
Thanks,
Andrew

I don't know the size of the circlip, you could just take the arm to the hardware store and find one to fit. As for installing it you assemble the whole thing spring then the two washers and circlip. Then hold the two washers apart and it will slip thru the keyhole section of the track you'll wind up with a washer on ether side of the window track and with the arm installed the arm can't slide back to the keyhole and come apart.
