Subject: Hey MN folks

Planning on a trip through part of the state this coming weekend and wanted to know if there is any ice/snow occurring there yet, and if any salt has been used on the roads yet? Anyone know if it's supposed to stay clean and dry through this weekend, at least in the southeastern quadrant of the state?

Thanks.

Didn't see any salt stuck to any cars, temp was maybe 60 or so in the daytime, nobody mentioned having had any snow yet this year.

So there's been no snow/ice/use of salt on the roads yet? Clear through the weekend? Minneapolis is part of the plan, just trying to decide if the old, very rust prone car can go on this trip, or if it's iX time. Not taking the old car if there's any salt or any (even slight) chance of salt being encountered.
