I have been able to use both to reply. Also thanks guys for adding the edit and delete option for the author.

quote does the above...places it in a box with the original users name and remarks....it "quotes" it, in text
reply just places your response as content in the box...like these 2 lines

edit* it appears that the quote feature is broken so, this isn't going to look like i intended
