when you post your message and the time you see it posted? seems like a pointless waste of time to have to look at that page while it redirects you. why not just go right to the post? :)

if you are qucik, you can click on "Click here to go to the Forum" and you do not have to see your own post. The page was always there in the old forum :)

That's just because the *rest* of this setup is so smooth (har har) that you notice the little things... just kidding, but we will get there.

I think we may be able to easily get rid of that page, but I suspect that page is actually doing something useful (like inserting the post into the DB and waiting a second before querying it out again to determine which unique ID it was assigned by mysql). I will investigate. I agree it seems like a bit of a waste.
