we've always had "duplicate" names on the FAQ board, and while it's really no terrible thing, I'm kinda bugged that I can't post under my own name any more, nor can I create an account using just plain old "mike"
I don't think we're so high-falutin' that we can't have more than one Jim or Mike or John or whatever...
One other thing--how can I make the type on these messages display a little larger? I'm goin' blind trying to read this itty bitty type... I can enlarge the type in my post, but not what I'm reading...and this has to display at 6 or 7 point.
Now that I've whined, I will say that the board is waaaaay easier to use than when I first looged on over the weekend, even for an old Luddite like me. Frustration factor has gone way down. Way to go, guys. While the board was down I was going thru withdrawal symptoms...

There is already an FAQ in how to use the FAQ :)
go to http://www.bmw2002faq.com/component/option,com_forum/Itemid,50/page,faq/
and look through that. it's a long document on how to use most of the features of the forum. It can always be found at the bottom of each page with the heading "Forum Help"
The basic posting is still there and you do not need to use all of the features.
