I installed 2 Infinity 6x9s in my rear seat delete thing.

They really make that old blaupunkt Frankfurt get up and sing!

10 inch sub will come soon I hope.

I'll be documenting a few things, I'll be builing a really simple voltage divider circuit so I can drive my low lever amp directly from the speaker out on that frankfurt. Also when I get into the groove, I'll be doing an External input as well. Will probably document that too, the idea being you cut a couple traces on the board and then when you go to plug in your ipod or cd player or satellite radio or something, you cut the radio portion out, but still have full volume/tone control.

Slash,
It looks good, but do you really want the extinguisher so far in the rear area of the car? God forbid you should need it, but it would seem like a lot of time wasted crawling into the rear to get it. Just my .02 cents.

For now thats where it sits. I will be fabbing bracket for the driver's seat when I get around to it :) you can reach back and grab at it, its within reach, but I prefer the driver's seat location.

I had two of those mounted in my rear shelf. They really work well in an 02 sized interior, and have quite good sound. I'll be doing something similar with my rear seat delete. I'm planning on mounting a 10" sub under the board on the passenger side when I get it done. If that's similar to what your planning I'd love to know how it looks.

I think it's fairly accessible. Remember that the area where the extinguisher is located is the front of the seat delete thingy.

Thats exactly what I'll be doing, 10 inch under passenger side.. I'll see how it fits! infinity 10 inchers are rather deep. :( we'll see!

Also, for the guy who mentioned about reaching, this part is the seat bottom area, not seat back :)
