Subject: jet size in webers?

I have 115's currently as the main jet. If I get 120's or 130's does that lean out the fuel being delievered? I'm running pretty rich and have tuned the mixture as much as possible but still climbing hills and such I get sputtering and the plugs are really fouling up with black deposits.

For a motor with stock to 292 cam and hi-comp pistons.

Idle jets: 50f9 (tune your idle mixture too). Idle jets after the 2000-3500 RPM transition. A 45f9 idle jets will not have the torque down low that a 50 can have.
Main jets: 120 to 130 if running 34mm venturis. The bigger the number, the richer across the rev band - except idle. Use even bigger jets if running bigger venturiis.
180 to 200 air correction jets. The bigger the number the leaner (in relation to the main jet size).

I strongly suggest that you buuy any book about Webers.
