Sounds like there may be some water in your gas tank. Are you getting cheap gas? I have noticed ARCO stations in the Seattle area give you all the gas and some water too.

Also check your throttle shaft to see if they're loose, a bushing rebuild kit is the only repair. Another may be how tight, or loose, the venturies are sitting in their seats.

Attached is how Boeing figures you to perform torques, especially with higher than normal limits using some math and torque adapters.

Definitely remove the pump, actuating push rod and cover with a block off plate and gasket. Also this now becomes an excellent place to ground your alternator case to!

They had to send me a muffler with the fwd mount located about two inches to the right than the "normal" muffler. It put me back some wait time, but it was SO worth it!

Okay, Ireland is the best exhaust. At least if you look at the cost side of things. Great fit, easy to install, perfect volume and to top all that, it's stainless!

Try running a telescoping magnet (snap on and craftsman have them). This seem to work well when you don't have eyes on your finger tips.
