I have got a 12Volt black coil with internal resistor (I presume). Not sure what it is really, hence all the markings are long gone.

The coil tests:

3.7 Ohm primary

7500 Ohm secondary

You need a store/shop specializing in hydraulic parts supply. They will find you a suitable seal. It's good to have a place like that around to find fittings, clutch hoses, seals, custom stuff, etc.

I think it's easier to compress the spring with a hacked tool or a proper compressor.

Input shaft bearing. It should make hummm all the time like mine. I already have got a used 4 spd for replacement

The clutch bearing makes noise only when you disengage the clutch!

I think you may discover a hole or heavy pitting on the inner fender + plus the fender bracket is almost always rusty + the inside of the fender will show a lot of rust.

I think you best bet is to cut a portion out of a salvaged vehicle! Saves time and money.

Check with guys that are about to send their parts cars to the crusher.
