The so-called carpet war actually began before Al began to be publically outed for difficulites delivering product in a what was considered by some buyers, a timely manner. Read her blog. It started over carpet samples. Al didn't have what she wanted and it escalated into a flame war. That was Al's first mistake....saying anything other than "I'm sorry, Seams Perfect can't meet your needs".

Motronic.....you just ask someone to be careful using the word "we" and then you turn around and do essentially the same thing saying "most of us were sick of Al using the board as his personal advertising medium."

How do you know that? I never thought he misused the FAQ board and the door prizes he donated to West Coast 02 events was pretty cool. But that's a single data point only.

But, yeah........bottom line........orders needed to be filled and customer expectations met. I hope this all dies down and eventually I hope people feel free to come back to the FAQ. I consider both Al & esty to be assets to the community. I just choose to interact 02-wise with one, not the other.

By the way, I bought Al's last carpet set. I'll let you know when I get it. I'll even post a pic if asked.
