Be careful when you say most or "we", and esty started the report or fact stating (blog) after Al failed to carry through with his stated obligations after taking peoples money and not returning emails or phone calls. Very simple really, Al is the reason you cant get a carpet kit from him.
Read enough and open your eyes, you will see why this has taken place.

It's not because of esty so dont kill the messenger. You should actually thank her.
In reality most of us are sick of Al using the FAQ for his own personal advertising medium, and acting like a donation is a generous thing instead of what should happen naturally to thank the FAQ for being there to sustain his business.
To be very clear, all of the money he is paying for a new tattoo and going to Europe could very well have made a dent in the amount he owes to the FAQ for existing to support his so called/former business.
