I did place an auction bid on the last of Al's carpets. I hope I win it.

I'm in NO hurry and I know, eventually I'll receive it. Just as I received a headliner and door panels from Al. Slow, but sure..........and delivered.

The stuff w/ Blunt and the other fellow really disturbed me. Al's guilty of inefficiency, never saying "no" because he wanted the sale and he's particularly guilty of putting himself and his needs first. He's also not very good at admitting he's wrong. But a thief......I don't believe that......sorry.

Also, (p)esty....don't mislead the newbies that read these threads late. He delivered 3 of the 7, carpets as I recall reading. He missed his deadline, he didn't make his claim.....bruise or no bruise. And yes....his excuses aren't worth much anymore. You stirred up the pot by asking if anyone had received their carpets and then, requesting photographic proof. This transpired well before this final explosion.

I'm disappointed Al: (1.) Left the board and (2.) engaged you in any sort of retort from the very beginning. He's been as rude as you have by disregarding people's requests for peace. He should have stuck around, never ever responded to you and then individually cleared all of his obligations and responsibilities in as timely manner as possible. He should have communicated with people. Oh....and he shouldn't have gotten that damned stoooopid tattoo and then showed it off.

Man alive, I can smell the manure on your grin all the way from Oregon. I personally, wouldn't be proud of being a divisive crank that some sizeable percentage of FAQ'ers don't think squat of and wish they'd be rid of. But that's me.........

I wouldn't be very proud of running someone like David Lumbra off the board....a person that as John Nevious says, has forgotten more about 02's than you'll ever know. He has a shop and professionally restores them. He often gave advice here. We've lost his knowledge thanks to your rudeness. How's that a good thing for any of us? How?

Your "scorched earth" war against Al has cost this board a lot. As has been mentioned by others, a lot of knowledge has walked. You won't admit to that........you are too in love with the taste of your own venom.

Admittedly, you've saved some future people from some frustration/consternation since he's not here to sell anymore. That's a good thing. You also give a lot of useful advice. There's positives to all of this, sure. But, I guess I keep......what is it.....my head up your posterior.....hoping I'll reach some chord of decency within you.

If you want to tangle with me, start a blog about me......I'll play. I'll play all day long. But, you won't have any unfulfilled obligations to laud over me. I also won't lower myself to using your vocabulary and I will also write in clear articulate (albeit, rambling) sentences. I will never make fun of your car or what you done to it because it's yours, you like it and you are proud of your work. It's well cared for and that's great. AND.....I won't ever leave the board.....just like you.

Well, unless I buy that Fiat X1/9 ;-)
