Well, both rockers are done, doors have been hung, rear panels are done and tail section is complete. Shop is now concentrating on the front end and are having some difficulties getting the fenders to align properly. Seems that the car was hit at some point and the left front frame rail got tweaked a bit. They have been pulling on it to get it back in place. Wish they had done this before they hung the new panels in the rear.
After they get the doors swinging and panels aligned, they will cut for flares and take it in to be primed.
Waiting to go on....bumper going to Dave Varco in exchange for a newly plated one.
Once the bodywork completes, we will get started on the subframes and mechanics.
Here's that to do list...
1) Drop, clean & rustproof subframes
2) Adjust Steering Box
3) Gusset front subframe (driver side mount)
4) Fix bell housing (broken near selector rod)
5) Install new clutch kit
6) Install new timing belt & tensioner
7) Install new waterpump
8) Install new plug wires
9) Install rear camber adjustment kit
10) Install rear toe adjustment kit
11) Clean engine and replace any leaking seals
12) Paint valve cover & intake manifold
13) Install new idler arm bushings
14) Install new tierods
15) Install new track rod
16) Install new ball joints
17) Install new control arms
18) Install new urethane suspension bushings
19) Install rear subframe urethane inserts
20) Install Short Shift Kit
21) Install front big brake kit (Wilwoods, e21 rotors, bearings, etc)
22) Install new brass collar around tranny output flange
23) Install rebuilt heater box & new heater control valve
24) Install new ST front and rear swaybars
25) Install rear disc brakes
26) Install new MC

I have tried to ride these guys, but unfortunately, insurance work takes priority and mine seems to get bumped on and off the rack quite a bit. It's been frustrating to say the least. I was really hoping to get it back by September 1st so that I could get the interior and glass back in in time for the Vintage get together in Herndon on the 30th. Doesn't look like I will have it back in time to show it......but, I still plan on attending the event.
