Subject: worst Knight ever

There are no SPOILERS bellow.

So I went to see the Dark Knight at midnight because I could not wait to see the movie the next day. I don't think I have ever been this excited about a movie. Well, like an hour into the movie there was an odd sound and I was like what was that. Then when I stopped thinking about the sound I realized the movie was not making any sense. After a few moments we all realized that the movie had skipped forward. So people started running out and yelling that things were messed up. It took them like five minutes to stop the movie and come in and tell us what was up. Apparently who ever put the film reels together put them in the wrong order. So the middle part we missed was now at the end. So they told us there was nothing they could do and we had to leave with passes to see the movie again. I must say this is the most disappointing night ever.

I do feel kinda bad for the theater because the last thing you want on your hands is a bunch of angry fanboys mad at you. Security had there hands full with this one.

Oh yeah. The first hour is pretty damn cool. Hopefully I can see the rest in the morning.

Eric

What, that really blows, but having once worked in a movie theater, I know mistakes do happen.

For a second I thought you were going to say the movie was horrible. Glad to hear that's not the case. I plan to see it tonight.

Yeah I worked in a theater too. So I was explaining to the people around how things work with the projector and why they couldn't just fix it while we wait. I am still so mad but I plan on seeing it again at 2 today. If this one messes up I think I will have to kill some people Joker style.

i felt the same way before when we actually watched a film rip in half and catch fire in the middle of the movie. I was so mad that I just never bothered to watch the movie again. To this day, I still don't know whether Bo and Luke Duke won the race and beat the bad guys or not.

I hate to say it but the Dukes were killed in a car crash at the end and Daisy ended up with Boss Hog. It was quite a tear jerker.

Oh yeah. I just saw the Dark Knight in its entirety and I have the biggest smile on my face.

Something like that happened to me when we went to see Spiderman II at the local IMAX. The sound and video started getting a little out of sync. I needed to go to the restroom, which was upstairs by the projector room. The projector is pretty cool--cool enough that they have a big window so you can see it. In this case, I walked by and saw the film pouring out of the side of the projector into a huge pile on the ground. IMAX film is huge--the reel was at least three feet across, IIRC. Anyway, it was quite a mess.

Needless to say, the movie was stopped within a couple of minutes, and we all got passes to come back later. It was a bummer.
