Subject: Looking for someone in SC to offer their 02 cents

Hi. First time poster hoping there is someone here in South Carolina, preferably around Columbia, who can help me with an 02 I've found. I think it might be "the one"-- a '76 manual with no visible rust. My expert advice resides on the West Coast and can't be much help in checking out the car I am looking to buy. Anyone in SC that can help a female decide if this car would be worth the $3500 asking price?

I just bought a 76 manual for $3000 in Charleston. It has some rust but runs and drives fine. Sold my truck and its my daily driver now.

Hi, I'm up the road in Charlotte and purchased a '76 manual in CA back in February - it's here now and I'm having a blast with it. If there's no or very little rust and runs well, and interior is nice, $3500 sounds good. Got any pictures? You might try a search on this forum as I've seen advice on what to look for in buying. BTW, this is the best forum for 2002s!
