Thanks to Sean and Meaghan and the little ones (OK, tjones, too!) for hosting a tech session and BBQ in beautiful Petaluma.

Can't remember all in a attendance, Stephen Christoper, Larry Ayers and Marti, Lisbeth and uh, others...

Sean and Tom got to show off their diagnostic skills on Keith's '74tii and we got a chance to see an in-progress M1 restoration.

Orange Julius and I hung out a little too long, but in enough to do some eyeballing and head scratching about some of the features/repairs made to my '73tii as compared with his aged, but worthy early 1600 daily driver.

Lots of Malaga 2002s in attendance.

Here's the one I restored in the mid-eighties. The silver car in the background is my '78 Saab 99 Turbo.

Nice. Wish I was there. I bought a carb set of Casey a couple years ago - super nice guy.

Nice Malaga! That's what mine should look like eventually!

It was a pleasure to talk Shop with you Delia. I love your approach to big project cars. Unfortunately many shop owners don't have such a detailed approach as you do.

I got to pick at/shake down a very nice blue plate CA Tii. I haven't seen someone gain such pleasure from me picking/poking their car as Keith did in a very long time. It was a pleasure to make such a detailed s#*t list with him. I'm still reeling at his Tii's carelessly installed front suspension washers. ())()(() Which way do they go? :b.... All in all Keith has got himself one nice Atlantic '74 Tii and his car has got one dedicated owner.

I only wish there were more people in attendance. So much time, so few '02s to pick apart. Where are all these Bay Area 02ers?? Oh well, we had a great time with those that did make it up to Sean's Casey Motorsports.

Delia, your Julius has been through hell, but it has found a most wonderful caretaker in you. See ya' next time.

Subject: sorry guys.... I was going to come but

in spite of my best efforts--

I started at 9am to try to get rid of not one, not two, but yes-- THREE three parts cars.

That's three trips to windsor from petaluma, one trip to novato for a trailer, and I still wasn't able to finish before Pick n Pull stopped receiving cars for the day. What a frickin mess.

I did get rid of the last car this morning and had the trailer returned before I was charged for a second day on the auto transport.

I really wanted to come.

but at least all my crap is gone.
