There are stock tabs that hold in the top part of the bench seat. When I cut the backs of the 6 series seats for my 02 I was able to use that tab to hook into the back fiberglass of the 6 series seats. As for the bottom of the 6 series seats, There are 2 tabs on the bottom of the 6 series seats located sort of near the front of the bottom of the seat. I cut notches in the rear seat bracket that spans from side to side and fit those tabs into the slots I cut and bolted them up. It all fits nice and snug. You will need to cut the back of the 6 series seats to get a nice fit- and for that a dremel and some measuring will get them to fit nicely. Take your time on cutting. Cut a little at a time and re-fit is the easiest way...I don;t know if there are templates or not for that? _________________

here is one way, but there are others as i did not use the existing hooks

I did the same thing as vintage_car, I didnt use templates, just sort of trial and error. Somewhere I have pics of back of the seats after I cut them, I'll see if I can find them tonight. _________________ '71 inka 'Ingrid'
