I am thinking of working a few days of Bonneville Speed Week into my summer vacation this year. That said, I am wondering if anyone has gone before and if they have any tips first timers.

I am assuming that bringing a cooler of water, sunscreen, sunglasses and a good hat are necessary, but was wondering about the schedules for the day, if there are concessions out one the salt or what to do about shade, camping vs. hotel vs small RV, etc.
