Subject: For Sale 1972 BMW 2002 (tii wannabe)

Hello everyone. I have a 2002 with a tii motor up for sale. I pulled this car from a field with the intentions of painting it and keeping it as a daily driver but I have seven other cars and no place to keep them. This car has been sitting for about five years, apparentley the previous owner moved to Alaska for a job. I will still have to drain the old gas, change all the oil, coolant etc.. The car runs very well and is quite fast, I think it has a nice cam of some sort but do not know for sure. Zero smoke. It drives very well, the transmission shifts great (5 speed). Good suspension, brakes steering etc..(also LSD) It has a clean title, and is registered, ( I might throw in a set of black plates for the right buyer). The body is very straight but I do not think it has the original paint but could be wrong. Also, short bumpers and shaved trim. The shock towers are perfect, the rockers are solid. I think the spare tire area is also free of rust. There is a small amout inside the trunk on the seam by the latch (two inches). Also a few bumps on the hood. Alpina wheels with good Dunlops but like I said it was sitting. It also has adjustable coil overs in front, I have not had time to pull any wheels to check the brakes. Battery in trunk(new Interstate). Good electricals. The interior is decent. Nice panels, good dash except for one crack. Nice headliner (sunroof). Good carpet, nice back seat and OK Recaro's with a couple o tears. Momo steering wheel with Alpina logo for the horn. Nice original owners manual and many receipts. I am asking $7000. Please feel to contact me with any questions but please be serious about wanting a 2002, I love to talk about them as much as anyone but that is what the meets are for?? My phone is 530.889.0165 but email is best at serenahaver@sbcglobal.net P.S. If you are a certifiable Audi mechanic I have a 20V 200 wagon that is need of some diagnosis, if you are interested in the car maybe we can work something out on the price. Please Audi only. Thanks for reading my ad, have a great day!
