This is a great project car, to be completed it needs painted, some interior work/cleaning, and an exhaust cut for the stainless header. This car has been garaged for the last 17-18 years and has 73,000 original miles. The car is solid, I fixed the quarter panel (had minor damage) behind the back wheel on the passenger side and the trunk. The car starts and runs. The car had new brakes and struts put on it 4 years ago and has been sitting in a heated garage since. The car comes with a lot of spare parts including: Genuine BMW fenders, spare motor and transmission (worked when pulled from spare car, high mileage), the stainless header is attached to motor, brand new gas tank, and a few boxes of different stuff, some new, some pulled off the car. I have all the trim and pieces to the car. It is carbureted and has a 4 speed standard transmisson. I’ve never driven it since it was pulled apart when I received it, I have had it running before though. I lost interest (or found other interests rather), and it has been sitting since. If your looking for a 2002 project, this is the one to get, it’s all there and it’s solid. I am taking a loss from what was invested. I am listing it for $1700, best offer takes it (over $3200 invested). This car is located in Youngstown, OH. You can look at the car by appointment, typically I am only available on the weekends, but something could be arranged.

One of the questions received: The strut towers are completely solid, no hint of rust. I can't stress enough how solid this car is (everyone has a different version of solid, I know). It has a solid "thud" when you close the doors or the trunk, I've never driven it but can imagine that everything on this car is tight.
