This is a 1972 BMW 2002 model. As of right now I can't afford to drive this car due to the fact I have to pay for college and I can't afford the repairs and work necessary anymore.
Back in October I had accidentally ran my precious car out of oil and messed the bearings up and my pistons, and my crank. I had pulled the motor and replaced the crankshaft, put in brand new bearings, and bought piano top pistons for the motor. I have also replaced the transmission with a new rebuilt Getrag 245 four speed. The car also has a 2 inch exhaust with a rice rocket for an exhaust. I want to replace it with something a little less conspicuous and make the car quieter but again I have no time or money.
The body is in fairly good shape for it's age and condition. The front driver side quarter panel is split at the corner. The door's need to be realigned.
Needs:
A new head
To have the piston rings replaced (I have them I just don't have the time or money to do it)
Suspension is fine for now but it will soon need replacing
All internal parts (Crankshaft, rods, pistons, bearings, main bearings) are new and good to reuse, only thing is that if you decide to use the same engine block you need to replace the piston rings with the ones that I have. Those rings will come with the car along with other parts for your benefit
