Subject: sunroof

the cables in the manual sunroof appear to have become snagged. does anyone know where to find these cables or has had any experience with a similiar problem.

Subject: Expand on "snagged"--is the sunroof jammed partly open or?

closed? Does the crank turn and nothing happen? Is it trying to move on one side but not the other?

Let us know what's happening (or not happening) and we'll try to diagnose....

There are several references in this forum regarding manual sunroof: install, re-build, etc.

DuBois in Hollister put together a nice pictorial, here:

I got my cables from BavAuto and followed his detailed text.

I just used it to "see" how the rear weatherseal is installed.
OK, I had to look closely, but it proved useful.
