A crack is easily fixed and almost impossible to find afterwards.

How do you repair the crack so it is impossible to see afterwards. FYI I think I should see/meet you in a few weeks for the show and shine.

Here is the fix that I have successfully use many times.
Go to a hobby store and purchase a jar of liquid glue. Tamiya brand, if you can. It's in a glass jar with a "nail polish brush" on the end.
Take a very small drop on the brush end and touch it to the crack. The liquid will course through the crack. It does not glue it in the usual sense, but actually "heat seals" it. Often times you cannot find the previous crack.
Try it first on another bad lens that you have as a test.
