Subject: Great Time, great new friends, & GREAT CARS ! ! ! !

Thanks Bo for putting together a great time. I finally made one of them!!!

Especially thanks to Skip, Tim, Mike, & Clyde for helping me figure out my coil failure. Tim, I will never make fun of your overloaded trunk full of spares because the spare coil saved my bacon! ! ! You da man!

Also thanks to the wives for patiently waiting in the cars while we were on the side of the road.

I enjoyed meeting all the folks that I've chatted with so much here on the board.

Lastly, thanks Keith for showing the proper way to use those tii 'special tools' and for fine tuning my tii. It ran great on the way home. I made the ride solo and it felt good not to be on the side of the road.

Hope to see many of you at V@V. I bought my wife an airline ticket last night so there is no turning back for her. She'll soon realize that this '02 group is not a bunch of bubbas wrenching on their old cars. : )

Mike Self, I'm expecting your wife to share her wisdom with my wife on how to put up with us and our cars. ha ha

Cheers,

Doug

Bo, thanks for the stellar pics. Wow, looks like such a great event. I grew up in Ste. Genevieve, Missouri, and would love to try to make this event next year (I'm fond of very long trips as well). Do you have dates set up? Keep up the fine work in pulling this thing together. I hope to meet Keith if he comes out to visit his son in Daly City.
