I must be the farthest North cept I saw a roundie coming from the north on 31 two weeks ago. Gave the thumbs up out the sunroof ,you gave me the thumbs up but I was expecting you to chime in here. (North of Ludington, closer to Manistee) But, (to no avail).

I was born in Detroit (Joy & Evergreen), grew up in Milford and moved out to Hell. From there I went North to Pentwater Where I bought property then moved over sea’s for nine years. Came back and went to Michigan Tech in Houghton & Northern Michigan in Marquette.

Smithdog57 I don’t know how old you are but do you remember the Carlin Family from Lake Orion. Hal & Myrna Carlin. He trains the Detroit Tigers training camp in Lakeland Florida.

Lets not forget Alhem in Rockford, He has to be cool, He just bought his Daughters a Bimmer for a daily driver.

02Monster, When I grew up down there I used to go to Waterford Hills to watch my Uncle race at Waterford Hills. A Chaterham lucky 7 and a TR 3 in 72. I’m sure the track is not there any longer.

And lets not forget Delia, From what I understand She used to drive these roads.

I think all Michiganders should unite and do what they do out West. Cruise or rally or just meet and join together and enjoy our sport with good food, good Friends and good drink……

If it is down State I can make it any time but we do have a Type 3 Invasion going on in July 31 in Ypsilanti, MI With a few T34’s making it, also they are coming from as far away as the U.K., Germany, Australia, Canada and many States. (Might run into a Friend or two).

Might be fun to hit a VW show in BMW’s. for a couple hours and do our own thing afterwards.

Pentwater, when the wind is blowing the right direction in the fall I can hear the cars running laps at Waterford Hills when I'm raking leaves. Like Mike said, it's still going strong. And Mike has seen my car and knows it ain't ready for primetime yet. It needs paint badly after 30 some years in the California sun. I heard it might snow there soon. Cold here in Boston too. That'll change when I get to Phoenix Tuesday. And someday come home and start my car again.

I'm in Rochester with a Jadegrun '75 2002 Automatic that I've owned for 16 years.

We're reunited (and it feels so good)............ My poor baby arrived last week from Arizona via Auto Transport, and is now resting comfortably in the garage. We were separated for a few years :( so, there is a lot of catching up to do...
