3- 4 feet- see if the plastic variety tag will tell you.

get some cages and once they start fruiting cut back on the water.

Cool Joeseph. Thanks for the info.

I have to rototill(sp?) the garden area tomorrow. We have some swiss chard, peppers and green beans to plant as well.

I did get cages for the tomatos and a bamboo structure for the beans to grow on.

Make sure you put the cages right side up like this. For years I was putting them large side down.

Be sure to bury most of the plant,roots & approx 80% of the stalk when you transplant. Good luck. My tomato crop was very poor last year.
