Subject: '67 1600-2 w/ alpina parts

I bought this car about 2.5yrs ago with visions of rebuilding it to it's orginal glory. It purchased from the original owner who had it in his garage for the last 20+ years. I was painted white in the late 70s (not very well though), but was orginally polaris neu. In the early 70s, he set it up for autoxing and installed 13x6in Borrani wheels, rolled the fenders, lowering springs, Koni adjustable shocks, adjustable sway bars, Alpina 2L header, Ansa exhaust, Gt steering wheel, and a tachometer. The car has about 132k on it, and has only a little structural rust. Rocker panels and a small spot in the spare tire well are all the way through. There are odd holes at the top of the driver's fender and on the front valence. It does have surface rust all over the car though. Included are 4 or 5 xerox paper boxes of spare parts and odds and ends that I got with the car, along with 5 original 13x4.5 wheels and 1 non-original wheel. I think I have a few 13" tires too. I'm selling because I don't have the time or money to put into it to fix all the rust and paint it and make it nice. Please someone give it a nice home! I'm looking to get $1500 for it, mainly because of the parts it comes with. I'm located just south of Annapolis, MD.

I've got a few more questions for you about the car. Is it currently in as many pieces as the photos indicate? I have been looking for the alpina header and wheels. Shoot me an email.

Thanks,

paul

Sorry for not leaving contact information. I made my email available, you can pm me, or give me a call after 8pm est @ 410-897-2349.

The car will be only sold whole, it do not want to part it out. It does not run, as the head is only set on the engine.

Let me know if anyone has any other questions.
