I currently have an E36 M3 sedan for sale (http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=988169).
Once that car sells I will have cash ready for a new 2002 project. Please let me know if you know of a car for sale. If anyone is interested in a trade that would be great too.
I'm looking for a good daily driver in the $10k-$12k range. A clean body and good paint are number 1 and 2 priorities. Everything else I can handle myself with time.
Thanks in advance guys.

Where are you located? How pricey are we talking?
Will it be a complete restoration?
Thanks

Hi Will,
I just put my 2002 up for sale last week and I saw your message.
I have a 1973 2002 (not Tii) in Inka orange that I purchased it from it’s second owner in 2004 (from Los Angeles), and the car had 124K miles when it arrived. It has never been “restored” but had excellent care overall. No rust at all. In 2003, full repaint, new Bilsteins, new carpets, mats, headliner, and vintage seats. In 2004, new (new-old-stock) seatbelts (3 point restraints in the back), rear deck, vintage Becker radio, and rebuilt gauges (odometer at zero). In 2005, big brake upgrade (front calipers, pads, hubs, rotors, lines from Aardvark Racing), and new tires (Yokohama Avid H4S 195/60/14). I have a new-old-stock Tii brake master cylinder that I have yet to install. Also in 2005, Leo Franschi tuned the engine, rebuilt the Weber 34/36 and replaced the distributor to match the electronic ignition.
The car has been stored in a heated garage since bringing it to Chicago and is driven regularly year-round (not a daily driver but 2000 miles per year), but NEVER in rain, snow, or salt conditions. I love to drive it, especially this time of year, and if I wasn't moving overseas, I'd keep it forever. I know my young teenage kids are totally pissed they'll never get to drive it.
I can send pictures to you later this week if you would like. Call me on my cell 847-840-8196 if you have questions.

That is the far top end of what I am willing to spend. I would actually prefer a cheaper car and do the finishing work myself than buy a "complete" car.
Regardless, I would still love to see pictures if it's not too much trouble. I always love seeing pictures of nice cars, especially if I looking for one.
Thanks

Will,
I've had trouble posting the pics on this site, but I can e-mail them to you. If you don't want your e-mail address on this site, you can e-mail me at kiddieheart@comcast.net and I will send them along in return.
