Had to be the first FAQer to post a message from the Falkland Islands. No 2002s here (did see a Morris Minor),but did see a nice white roundie in Montevideo--Ronal wheels, nice aftermarket steering wheel, excellent condition. Gave the owner's friend the FAQ board address, so hope he'll post.
Will report on 02s in Chile shortly.
cheers from the Falklands

Bruno Demuro is a Montevideo FAQer with a golf Ti, with some Alpina extras, I believe.

I wish I spoke the language. I would love to check out those countries. _________________ 67 Caribe 1600

Hey Randy Don't wish you could speak Spanish. From your address, I assume you are still in school, and there is no time like the present to start some basic spanish classes. Even if you're not in school, there are some great language programs available on CD, DVD, these days. It really is probably one of the easiest languages to learn, and in the USA, I'm sure you are exposed to it daily. Once you take some classes, start watching spanish tv, with english subtitles, and I think you will be amazed with how fast your comprehension increases. Then when you get a chance, take a trip and immerse yourself, don't hang around with english speakers. It opens up a whole world of employment opportunities. Suerte!

Nope, not in State College. We are isolated community where all demographics revolve around Penn State. Kinda like an Amish village, but in a different way. No barrio here.
I took Spanish in Jr High and have tried a few times as an adult to learn a 2nd language: adult classes, books, CDs, I even lived in a German village for 2+ years and led a German staff at work; but language just doesn't click with me.
I can probably pick it up if I apply myself, but my down time is overcrowded as it is. Speaking of that, I have a motor to install so I can clear my garage of an e36 from hell. _________________ 67 Caribe 1600
