You should extend it all the way through the holiday season so us sorry saps can spend our bonuses on shiny new wheels. Most people are spending $$$ on holiday gifts for one another at the moment and thinking a little less about ourselves.

Chris, I need a couple of spare center caps for the wheels I got earlier.
Do you think that will be a problem.

Thanks, Andy!

I appreciate the great picture. I was wondering what they would look like on a white car.

BTW, don't you need more than one set of the silver ones? Hehe.

Thank you, too, Terry.

Looks great, really!

I'm just thinking about them at this point. I just ordered tires for some Mini Imola wheels that I'm gonna try on my flared '74.

I guess that the lusting never ends! :-)

Will do.

My only worry is if you do an offset to "fill" the flare, in all likelyhood, you'll have clearence issues at the firewall when you turn the steering wheel at full lock either way.

I do have a 20mm offset wheel available and you can run a 5mm hub-centric spacer. I'd only feel good about this setup if you're running e21 front hubs.

Thanks- Cris

Cris:

What is the total $ for silver wheels with nuts and emblems? I have only driven various '02's, with the exception of an 1800TI, since 1969 - more than a million miles. My experience is that 15x7 wheels with a 25 mm offset will not fit with even 195/50-15 tires on either a stock 2002 nor a tii, even with the lips rolled. 15x7 will fit with 205/50-15 with a 28.5 mm offset and rolled fender lips; 195/50-15 will fit on 15x7 with a 31 mm offset and rolled lips. What is your experience? And how does one further bulge the front fenders to accomodate 25 mm offset? By fit, I mean no rubbing anywhere on downhill hairpins at .4g.

I also have a Zender turbo-flared tii, Chamonix. I have run 15x7, and 16x7 with 205/50 and 225/45 respectively with 0 offset, but 12 mm is really optimal for 15x7 to 17x7.5, and the aforementioned sizes fit; I've even run chains. Longer wheel studs allow either centric-, or not, spacers on wheels like the Rota 25mm's at minimal expense, so long as due care is taken to hub center the spacers and wheels.

I love the period-correct Minilite look and would like a set for each of my flared and non-flared tiis, assuming you concur.

Regards,

Zwoirle

The car in the OP has 205/50's at all four corners with no fender roll and runs a fixed camber plate up front. I've run 195's as well with the 25mm offset with no issues.

Please e-mail me with your zip code and I'll have a complete quote on Monday when I'm back at the office.

Thanks and have a great weekend- Cris
