And i'm almost 100% sure he's doing it all by hand.. I wonder if there are a bunch of them spamming in shifts, or if he's just a lone spammer working away day and night .. deep in the heart of china some where.

Maybe he's really a she -- a direct descendant of chinese emperors held captive in a chinese spam sweat shop -- just hoping some valiant BMW2002FAQ guys will rescue her.

Or I guess we'll just write a filter that auto-deletes the messages.

Well the board has always had an open poster policy since the beginning. Its just one of those traditions -- also you get people like Jeff Ireland posting and others who don't want to go through the trouble of registering.

Plus it makes it a nice programming challenge to stay ahead of the bots :)
