Easy to install, and 1 million times better than Esty could ever make....
I can recommend him simply for the quality of his work.
Kits were navy blue and a black set. The picture shows the carpet going in....pretty simple and straight-forward.....again......1 billion times better than Pesty could ever make.

As one of the guys who got "taken" by Al, I feel qualified to offer some advice. After a long and drawn out 1 year and 6+ months I have pretty much given up on ever seeing the remainder of the items I commissioned Seams Perfect to construct for me. I have a book of correspondence with chapter after chapter of excuses and broken promises. To make things worse, not only am I out financially, but the parts I sent to have re-covered (door and rear panels) will now have to be replaced since my pleads to simply send back what I sent him have gone unanswered.
Now I did get the carpet and rear seat delete kit (part of my order), approximately 1 year after paying so I guess I only got hosed for about 2/3 of my order. Anyway, on to the advise ... Don't send him a penny! If you must order from Seams Perfect, let him ship the items to you on credit and then pay once received. _________________ 74 tii m20 stroker 2.8 turbo (2 more cylinders coming soon)

Having watched this from afar for years now and having 5 minutes before dinner, I thought I'd chime in for a change.
Without wanting to re-state the obvious, it seems that Al does good work but reliability seems to be a big issue.
There is certainly enough evidence based upon Al's own responses in this and other forums that he has had problems, personal issues, life threatening disasters, etc, that have meant he couldn't deliver in quite a few circumstances. And NOT just a handful is my take on it.
I would suggest that most people that buy (or intended to buy) from Al will never meet him nor wish to (a function of geography) - so whether he is a great guy in person who'd give you the shirt off his back, trying to open multiple businesses all at once or in need of a holiday (all reasons which some have suggested in the past should mitigate any non-delivery on his part), is largely irrelevant.
Buyers just want a product of quality (which he seems to deliver) at an agreed price (he is a bit dearer than some competiors, but his stuff is supposedly worth it) in a commercially timely fashion (this is where it unravels a bit). (BTW - A great personal relationship is a bonus BUT comes a long fourth to the above three criteria - if you can't nail them, you're a dinosaur in the long run!)
BUT as I have watched (rather perversely on my part I must admit - like looking at a train wreck!) this "debate" for years now, the whole clash of personality thing that engulfed it has fogged the key issues.
So let me just impose a little on the group and talk about the Cheap/Fast/Good equation. What this little "device" has taught me in life is that you can rarely have a product/service offering that can deliver more than two of these three in any circumstance.
Example, something that is great quality and cheap is often not going to be quickly delivered. If you want cheap and fast, I have rarely seen quality output come from that combination. Similarly fast and good, usually costs heaps.
Now Al's stuff appears to fall into the first combination (sort of, he's not exactly cheap) - so if that's your thing, go for it.
But IF you could find something that was a good fit/quality, was competitively priced and had a strong record of prompt delivery - would you choose that instead? If so, ask yourself, are there alternative to Al's company that offer that. If you find that there are, your decision becomes, self evident I would have thought. So compare the alternatives?
There is certainly enough info to make an informed decision - get samples from all the vendors, take note of feedback from buyers who are happy/not happy with all suppliers in the mix and it will be crystal clear in the end.
Sorry that was longer than I thought - and took about 10 minutes so I better bolt.
Good luck with the decision.

Now that Al has stop posting here, he must have gotten his act together. However, I haven't heard much about him/from him until now. Except that someone from Australia bought a headliner off him and it was shithouse.
I like the fact that even though Esty doesn't like Al for years upon years, she's got plenty of good evidence collected to establish his business ethics, while at the same time, she gives you more than enough alternative to choose from! Either way, you can't lose! _________________ "My dad was right, it was cheaper just to buy a new car."

i think some of you guys have a chip on your shoulders that you need to loose!
i know that Al said some really nasty things to and about you esty, and they are hard to forgive and forget, but thats what a mature adult would do. as i said before... be the bigger person and let it slide, and let Al or whom ever ells calls you something be the dumb ass (sorry for putting calling you a man, it was late at night and i just got back from construction, i should have written woman ; )!
also i find my self very surprised by some of the things you all say on the forum! i don't know how old some of you all are but some of the stuff i hear here is reminiscent of 14 years old shit talk over a game of Halo2 on Xbox live! this forum is for community and information. For learning, sharing, and discussion. Not for people to call each other limp dicks and lesbians!
I can't believe I just had to tell off a bunch of people who I bet are at least 10 years older then me, but some one had to do it!
By the way. Every time I have sent an email to Al I have received a response the next work day.
Also I have herd that Al was going through some very very hard times when the problems with esty and others took place. Now I know we have all been through shit storms and know what its like so cut the man a bit of slack! what he said and did is not ok, but understandable for the situation he was in. We are all human, and I expect everyone I know/talk to or have interactions with to treat each other with respect, compassion, and understanding! _________________ Jeremy von Marburg (CA, SF)

I got a set of German wool and it's very nice. Took a little while to get it but it wasn't that bad of a wait.

I had the quick replies to emails, friendly banter... even shared a bit of Esty bashing with the Canuck... all went to shiit the second I paid for the stupid product.
Look at all the pics of the work he has done, print them out, take them to a reputable automotive trimmer and ask him to replicate. It really isn't rocket science. Don't give the dude a bigger head than it already is. Pay the extra money for satisfaction of knowing if things go wrong, you can drive down to the place and have a chat to the craftsman about getting it repaired. _________________

FYI:
1) I bought a carpet set for my tii, EXCELLENT quality, delievered in about three weeks. No problems, everything was delievered when he said it was going to be.
2) I have two friends who had negative experiences. I won't post details. Very similar to many others on the board.
