From here on out the car will be known as Kelly's pile O' shit ( KPOS for short ).

It's ALOT rougher than it looks in the pics.

Plans are Alpina Pig Cheek flares and front spoiler to fix the body ( it's either that or 4 new stock fenders ) if I'm gonna go through the trouble of all that work you can bet your ass that it'll be an upgrade and not just replacement parts.

I think a high compression big cammed motor on ITBs and megasquirt ought to make it fun as shit for Kelly.

Let the project begin.

Pics,

Is that the one from the Bay Area? It's a pretty solid car. I'm sure it will be real nice.

I think thats the one from your neck of the woods Cris. I almost bought that for a parts car. Good luck with it.

Thanks, it's right on the verge of being a parts car, if you were looking for one to make a stocker out of, this would not have been the one to start with.

By solid I hope you are referring to the three gallons of bondo on the passenger rear quarter. If so you're right on the money. :-)

That car is for talented people like yourself. Good luck with the project. I have some belt line trims to give away if you want it.

This is the idea so no trim will be needed.

Way to go Charlie - that's the same one Aashish went to go look at. It seems like floor rust was the worst of it. I guess when you start looking for the hidden stuff you'll be sure to find it.

No doubt it you'll do a great job with the transformation! Keep us posted.

There was a complete set of pig cheeks on craigslist a month ago. It was as much as your whole car. :)

There's a few things on my 75 that cost as much as the whole car.

For some reason that used to bother me, not anymore.

i am SOOOOO jealous of your garage shown in the background. i'd kill for that amount of FLAT, LEVEL, covered space.

anyhow, with the speed you finished your other project, you should be just about done with this one in time for palo alto next month. have fun with it. glad to see another orphan find a worthy home.

HAHA! Nice rims on the trailer! You get them off an MGB?

Can't wait to see how this one turns out, your Silver car looks awesome.

I have no idea where the wheels came from, they were like that when we ( damn near ) stole that trailer from a tow company.

Thanks on my other car, I wish my upholstery guy would finish the covers for the old school recaros I got from Eric, they'll look beautiful.

Knowing you Mac, you'll have this done by Labor Day.

Judging from the seats, it's a saddle brown interior. Do you need a pair set (front and rear) handles/arm rests?
