I'll take both sides of this one. That poor old 1600 that Esty called a piece of crap? That looks like a 67 to me, and that alone, makes it a cool old bomb. 1600 pride, you know.

And Esty, if it makes you feel better, my 67 1600 is Granada Red, with a Chamonix hood.

good for you and your 2-tone...i never take it personal and most of all, never feel bad about anything that takes place here...it's all, hopefully in jest...well, except for the innocent, unsuspecting guys that got hoodoo'd by larson

and BTW...i've never seen an o2 that i didn't like or want to buy...now, please let's not mess the thread up being nice & friendly

Don't you think dragging Larson in to this is like beating a dead horse ?

It sat out in a wheatfield in Western Kansas for god knows how long.

I bought it via Ebay and later resold to pbryant. He's in the process of saving this car. So.....it's not his daily driver, but a project car, Esty.

He hauled it all the way from Kansas to Texas and is in process of bringing her back from the dead. I have nothing but respect for him & his efforts.

That car was RIP............quietly disappearing into the soil until I found it, bought it....and thank goodness, passed it along to someone who can/will and is....doing something with it.

Not to nitpick, but you did call the car "a piece of crap" and said to "shoot it and buy a Honda." Don't worry, the car accepts your apology. ;^)

And what about my 1600? You also called it a piece of shit once. You have nothing but disrespect for these cars.
