A lot of forums have the option to only search in topic titles.
This would be really nice and probably eliminate a lot of duplicate posts/questions.
As it is now, if I have a question about a brake upgrade, I type that in, and get every post with the words "brake" and "upgrade" found somewhere in the post.
I don't know about other people, but I get discouraged when trying to search for a related thread, so I'll usually just start a new topic even if I think it was already covered in an old post.

I found a mod that allows this. I'll see about getting my punk ass motivated and try it out on the beta. I agree the full text search does lead to a lot of yada if you search for something commonly yacked about in the body of messages.
I'm still kind of in hell with this interent connection.. it drops all the freaking time so its a pain to do any real work :(
