PREFACE - THIS IS A CHRISTMAS PRESENT. I ASKED EVERYONE IN MY FAMILY TO GIVE ME MONEY FOR CHRISTMAS, SO I COULD GET STARTED ON IT. A WHOPPING $77 CAME OUT OF MY OWN POCKET.
Well, actually, I pooled all my Christmas cash, and then took a few bucks from my latest "carpet scam" to pay for it, but here it is. After many years of planning, and not wanting to get something I would ever regret, I took the plunge.
4.5 hours of tiny needles pounding into your skin is a wee bit exhausting, but worth every minute. I was tired, hungry, and had a baaaad headache at the end. Scary thing is, I can't wait to go back for the colour! Probably another 10 hours to complete.
Anyway, it's Loki, Norse God of Mischief. Those who know me, or have seen some of my "antics" around these parts, will know how fitting he is to be tattooed on my rather large, Norse arm.

Shit balls that is huge!
Keep us posted on how you go when you add color. I have been pissing about with designs for some ink for ages. I dont want to get anything I regret, that is my biggest issue.
Did you get my email? A package arrived thsi afternoon safely... I have not unwrapped it yet.
Cheers,

Yeah, it's HUGE. Go big or go home.
Little perspective, my arms(when warm, and flexed) are over 17.5" around. Totally relaxed, not been to the gym in 2 weeks, and loaded with Christmas fat is when that pic was shot. They are about 16". I had no idea just how big my arms are, until the artist made the tracing outline, and we lined it up on Anita's back. She's 5'11", about 140, and it took up her whole back.
Not knowing what I wanted is why I waited so long for mine, and now I'm glad I waited. Heritage is always a good one to draw from. I'm Norwegian descent, so a Norse god made sense to me. Take into account my penchant for mischief, and Loki was a natural choice. I spent hours, and days on the net, looking for images. Once I found a few, I printed them off, and stared at them. Boiled it down to 2 solid images, and several designs(knotwork, serpeants, etc), and then took that to Paul, my artist. He took the tracing, heard what I had to say, and 3 weeks later, he inflicted pain.
Glad it arrived, what a debacle. And yes, that package I got back from Australia? Your original headliner! Still no sign of Jeff's original though, mailed on the same day, from the same outlet. Weird.

Haha @ Loki. My family's last name was originally "Lokey" when they came from Germany a couple of hundred years ago. When they reached the US, people were like, ewwww, that's the same as "Loki", hence, some changed to "Loker" which is what I have, and some stayed the same. Good to see you will now carry my original last name, and carry it well!
Love tattoos and yee, you guessed it, they are addictive! I've already got three. _________________ "It's what you feel, not what you ought to. Reasonable and sensible."

I'd recommend you measure yourself again in about a month's time after you shed all those extra xmas pounds, Todd.
P.S. When are you coming to Sydney?!!! _________________ "It's what you feel, not what you ought to. Reasonable and sensible."

I do plan to have some more done as time rolls on. One of those will definitely include Thor, or at least his hammer. I think Odin also needs to be incorporated somewhere.

Reminds me of the joke.........
Thor comes down from his mountain, pretends to be a peasant and has his way with a peasant girl. This goes on for a while, then Thor starts to feel guilty and wants to confess to the girl that he is not just a lowly peasant boy.
So the next time he sees her, and after a full night of wild sex, he confesses to her..."I am sorry I misled you, I am Thor!!
She say:....
.
.
.
.
.
.
.You think you are Thor.....I am so Thor I can't thit down........
I know it's bad, it is just I remember all these stupid punch lines..... _________________ Steve

i have a small tattoo and im certainly no expert on them as i got mine 30 years ago in hong kong so im sure im out of touch with todays tattoo pricing but i do have to ask,,,,,,,, youve owed me 700 dollars for over 5 months and ive recently taken a carpet set to knock part of that down. ive also gotten 2 paypal payments of 100 dollars each in 5 months but my curiosity has the best of me.... did that cost more than the 300 and some dollars you still owe me??? i cant believe you have the balls to post something like that when youre emailing me how broke you are and cant pay me. im really sorry to jump on the bandwagon and i resisted for a long long time. ive wanted to let you know how i feel for some time. but this is just tooo much. youve stayed at my house and had dinner with me. i really never thought youd treat me this way. _________________

Read the post. Christmas Cash. It was a gift of cash, and non of your business. If you want to know, it's $150/hour, and I have paid for 3 hours so far(he did 1.5 hours for free). Total cost was $477 so far, ALL A GIFT.

$77 from the carpet sales went to pay the taxes on my tattoo. The rest was gift money.
For the record, I tried to pay you with a cheque, when I first bought the parts. Remember that? You said "no, paypal only". Sorry dude, I offered alternative arrangements, and you refused. Hey, here's an idea. If you want to run a business, and sell parts to people, why not a Visa machine?

I gotta side with Steve on this one.
Al, I still have an outstanding invoice that I have yet to collect on(over 1 year old). It was for the e28 springs that you sold some time ago. Please pay me as well.
