Subject: forget about resolve...it's unwanted..

there are 2 kinds of people...those that do and those that wish they had the balls to do

it's apparent the ones that don't have the nuts want things to stay the same so they can complaint and believe, in their own minds they're keeping their hands clean...to them complaining about what displeases them is not getting involved...that's their solution to fixing a problem....if they bitch about something long enough it'll go away

it doesn't go away, it get's worse...it's also apparent they have no interest in this being a forum for all people...when they start selectively condemning posts that don't suit your personality, the message is,this not a place for all people...just those that share our lovey dovey, kiss ass style

when you guys figure out how to have your cake and eat it to.....let the realists know how you did it...things piss us off too and it's hard not constantly bitchin and moanin about it as a from of relief

we agree with you in one respect...the world SHOULD be a bed of roses where there's nothing that offends us on a daily basis....and one where everyone else always says what we like hearing....

in the eye's of the nutless we're worthless, we accept that....are you honest enough, big enough to accept our opinions....you're self righteous wastes of breath to us

you keep mentioning the words "problem" and "solution", but you have not actually explained what you see as a problem and what you see as a solution. so far you have only made assumptions and accusations.

Please explain.

Quote:
sorry i tried to make a difference....surely the time has come then, for you to start handling things like roadfly and bimmerforums....cut all the crap that doesn't suit you and your hand pick'd group of members and start banning people you personally don't want around

please, tell me who in the past 5 years of running this forum have i banned, which is the righteous group of people that i selected.

Quote:
where there are at least 2 people, in time, you are going to have arguments....that's a fact you may not be aware of steve

here are a couple definition for you from Merriam-Webster:

Quote:
ar·gu·ment
Pronunciation: 'är-gy&-m&nt

2 a : a reason given in proof or rebuttal b : discourse intended to persuade
3 a : the act or process of arguing : ARGUMENTATION b : a coherent series of statements leading from a premise to a conclusion

what i see in Personal Attack forum are not arguments.

I could not put this any better myself... I have no idea what Esty is trying to achieve with this crap. There are a lot of people who see eye to eye with her on a number of things, but to me it is overshadowed by this rant stuff. The women is the highest poster on the forum, amongst the wads of shit, there is actually some well thought out and helpful posts.

To answer the question about what I think it is to be a "02 enthusiast". I feel it is that you have an '02, take care of it, are keen to enjoy it and enjoy the company of like-minded people. I guess that would make you and most people here, 02 enthusiasts.

Some of these people who were once active here have moved on because of all of your rants and it is very disappointing to see.

what's happening here, now is perceived by many, including you and me as a problem....i offered a solution albeit, maybe not to everyone's liking, when i posted a suggestion and ask'd for others to get involved in reaching one...

when stevek said there was no interest, that, of course diminished the likelihood that anyone would get involved to reach a resolution to zero

apparently, the implied resolution is to cater to the desires of some but not all members...it goes to show, the ones that do the most complaining may not have such a huge problem as they express...and wouldn't actually want anything to change because they would have to change their modes of deception as well....i can deal with that...

i stick by my belief that all of you guys are, in fact, as entertain'd by all of the crud as the guys with big enough hoo hoo's to admit it publiclly

after all...this is a separate, segregated forum...not part of what the genuine 02 enthusiast prefer to see...you don't have to be here, whining about it...you're here by choice

yes....i will again...

later though.... i'm having one of my moments, at the moment

perhaps in the meantime, you might encourage a few of the genuine BMW enthusiasts to contribute...perhaps you could start with the ones that chose to go about starting new threads that only perpetuate the madness

i promise, i won't forget to answer you

edit to add....
in the mean time steve, here are a few words from the mouths of babes regarding their views...hopefully, the person that mailed me won't mind...i believe it says a lot and is somewhat typical of my emails...and of course i realize, there will be as much opposition...but this is a new guy that everyone seems to worry about not wanting to come around because of the likes of, for example, larson and me

Hi esty, From what I gathered on the forums you're a pretty web savvy member. Me, not so much. What I do see repeatedly on any forum is the 'Lord of the Flies' style thread madness that occurs when everyone chimes in and takes sides thinking it is important that they be heard. I do get frustrated with the way a thread disintegrates when everyone chimes in. I am picking up my first 02 this weekend, but have been reading and lurking on this site for 6 months, learning immeasurably in that time ( and probobly picking up a fair amount of bullshit as well..) This is a good board overall compared to others I have been on, and any objections to you of late have been knee jerk stuff that largely overlooks that your comments are made in order to help board members. There's my .02. Keep on posting.

Your attacks, rants, whatever aren't even that well written. All you end up doing is stating half baked arguments which contain lies and absolute mistruths. Then use words that sound like you just randomly picked them from your thesaurus. Which I doubt you even understand. Your psycho, you attack everybody as of late. It was one thing to have your own personal vendetta with me but to attack every well meaning 02 enthusiast. Whether it be Kfunk or David Lumbra. You can have your own opinion but don't slap those in the face that disagree with it or offer their own difference of opinion. I've never encountered someone who is so foul and absolutly nutty that they must have the last word other then you. I know you will just simply respond that I'm the stupidest "muthaf*()*ker around"... because really why would I expect anything more then that from you?

Esty, it is hard to ask people to contribute to something, when i do not know what you want them to contribute to. Please, state what you see as a problem and we can work from there.

That is the first time I've actually seen a pic of Kieran. Too bad we are no longer talking. Esty, for some reason, the last time I spoke to him which was yesterday, he said I was just as bad as you. He must be scared of women. Either that, or he thinks we are all a like. No way though, your paint job is way cooler than my paint job!

Both those posts deserve responses so here it goes.

LooseBiscuit3, I've seen your posts. In fact the whole bloody FAQ has since theres so many of them. They continue to get more and more loopy. The thing that finally pushed me over the edge with you was seeing "The website" with all those racist remarks. Justifying it by saying"I saw it in a movie once" is the most flawed logic EVER! I seriously think you have a multiple personality disorder or something. Like I told you before I don't have a problem with you. You need to chill out, get help or something!

Esty:
Shocking, your trying to take something out of context again. Its all you ever do including a ton of posts on your joke of a blog. If all you can question of me now is my sexuality your a poor hollow soul of a human being. Quite honestly it doesn't matter how I'm oriented. Your the one that has had or has a sex change for sure Steve. If you were in fact a true 02 "Enthusiast" or whatever insane tangent you go off on today. You'd come out west and meet me at the Palo Alto swap and either call me all these things to my face or resolve it. Instead your troll on a message board and are really the worst person ever.
Oh and heres your ohh so flattering picture of me in whole context

Both of you please go see help from your local Psychologist(Say it with me now PS-YCHO-LO-GIST) And the important part you read into is PSYCHO!

I wasn't actually refering to the pic with you in it, but now that you mention it, you and Kieran again have on a similar outfit. Canadian dress sense is a little dull and outdated.

i don't recall implying you're a gay canadian....are you trying to take advantage of this thread to come out? people here seem to be an accepting crowd...there doesn't seem to be any bigoted folks round these parts...they tend to accept people for who they are, not their personal preferences

Yes, similar indeed. Both of us have short sleeves, and shorts on! What an outrageously awful thing to wear to a car show on a hot day in California! My goodness, the fashion faux pas is unacceptable.

Oh, and BTW, those that know me, or know who I live with, know that I have likely forgotten more about fashion, and the fashion industry than you will ever know. Thanks for coming out though. Perhaps I will take this opportunity to show people what your fashion sense is? Or maybe everyone already knows what a birthday suit is.

Hey K Priss,

In that pic of you and I, where you're holding your Supersprint goody bag, and we're in our K Mart clothes, what is that shirt you're wearing? Where did you get it? Must have been from that K Mart in Berlin, no?

Wanna know something kinda funny? The dude in the Hawaiian shirt, that you say has an outdated Canadian style? Well, he's not Canadian. That pic was taken in Chicago, and he now lives in Florida. Good try though.

In all honesty, who gives a shit where you shop anyway? We aren't in high school anymore, well, some of us aren't, so there is no need to impress our friends with the cool new pair of Airwalks we bought over the summer vacation.

P.S. My website is there for everyone to see. If I didn't want people to see pictures of me and badass Karl, I wouldn't have put them on there in the first place, now would I? For Christ sake, other people know how to access it besides you, give them half a credit at least!
