I like the right side.

Maybe an Alabama Crimson Tide magnet on the sides?

Right, right, right. of course I would make three rights, before I would go left....

I was hoping this wouldn't get political..

Red and White is definitely "Retro."

Consider this "Retro-politan."

the car was just painted red so a total color change isn't an option...i'm just trying to add a bit of WOW to what i have by adding something different to a panel or 2

i like the white...it's very elegant

brick veneer...i never consider'd that....maybe that'd make good trunk boards....HomeDepot sells the stuff in 4x8' pieces

Neither... I sort of like the idea of splitting colors at the belt line... I've been tempted, just for farting around until I can get a real paint job, to just do the top 1/2 of my car in black, and leave the bottom Anthracite in place.... But I haven't done it yet.... Maybe...

I need to spend some photoshop time like you did to see how I feel about it....

I also like the idea of Shelby style stripes, or 69 Camaro style stripes, but that's just me...

I think your lefty car would look great, but what's it look like with a red roof, too (so only the big white stripe down the side)?.

You said Ford / Wimbledon white, did you have a specific red or maroon in mind or would you be using the color your car is already? If it ends up that Wimbledon is just "too white," you might want to check out a light ivory from Porsche / VW. Still white, but not so damn bright!

That other combo from the other thread (reversed the colors) looked cool, too, but maybe too much like a big steam boat.

yes sir, it's going to stay the red it is now..i'm just going to add the white panels over the red....you think wimbeldon is to bright?...anything more cream and it'll be more saraha than white IMHO..the photchop'd images we're looking at are a bit whiter than i'm going for

this is the red it's painted now

Yeah, that last post is a good shot about what you're talking about. I think you're right - I was thinking Wimbledon is like REALLY REALLY white (a neighbor had an old Mustang that color). I didn't think it was so cream-colored. Anyway, do you get that pink tinge look in the white when it's right next to the red or is that just me?

Whichever white you use, I think it'll end up being a nice one-off 2002.

This was the Porsche white / ivory I was thinking of:

i have a 59 ford ranchero that is red and wimbledon white and a 57 that's turquoise and wimbledon white....no, there isn't any pink hue at all when you look at the complete car....

i think but am not sure that ford's brighter white is called diamond white...i also have a 97 ford lariat that is that color...it is a bright white like the white on the o2 in the photochop we're messin with here

and thanks for the compliment....i think it'll stand out in a crowd too

Takes us about 10 minutes in the shop. We have this miracle tool to aid in the process. We call it.....ready for it? ........

....A screw driver! Try one, you'll like it.

2 or 3 minutes to install BOTH rear quarter windows? Wow, impressive, well done. Would you like a job? Seriously you can have one. Come on up and work for me. I think together, we can complete my evil plan of taking over the world, one carpet set at a time! Muaahahahahahahaha.

I'm not offering you the chance to sew carpets, or anything for that matter. I've seen your upholstery work in pics, and it doesn't measure up. I also know that you have no idea what a quality carpet looks like, so again, strike 2.

What I AM offering is a job in the shop. Help me put glass in, put doors together, bolt on bumpers, do mechanical work, etc. If you can seriously do both rear quarter windows under 10 minutes, you're hired.

Oh, notice that this post from you came within seconds of a post from Len. Odd.

I'm envious of your interior work? HAHAHA. Actually, when you originally posted that, I complimented it. I said it was "alright for an amateur" or something like that. And it is, looks fine. I'm certainly not envious, but it does look just fine.

Seems I struck a nerve though, eh Mr. Rogan?

Excellent. You're not only an ignorant bitch, but you're a homophobe, too. Some of my best friends are gay, and those kinds of comments only serve to make you even more disgusting.

Oh, and BTW, Kiki is not one of my gay friends.
